Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SynCommunityBot, including the Discord bot, web dashboard, support tools, purchase claim flow, ranch and camp dashboards, payroll tools, tracker embeds, and related services (collectively, "the service"). By inviting, configuring, accessing, or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

Relationship to Discord

SynCommunityBot is an independent application that uses Discord's platform. It is not created, endorsed, or operated by Discord. Your use of Discord remains subject to Discord's own terms, policies, community guidelines, and developer platform rules.

Eligibility and Accounts

  • You must be allowed to use Discord and must comply with Discord's rules.
  • You are responsible for the Discord account you use to access the service.
  • You may not use the service if your access has been suspended, revoked, or blocked.
  • Server owners and authorized managers are responsible for how they configure the bot in their servers.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the service. Prohibited conduct includes:

  • Using the service to violate law, Discord policies, or another person's rights.
  • Attempting to access dashboards, servers, ranches, camps, purchases, support tickets, or data you are not authorized to access.
  • Submitting false, misleading, abusive, unlawful, or harmful content through commands, support tickets, settings, or dashboard inputs.
  • Interfering with service operation, rate limits, security controls, authentication, or data integrity.
  • Reverse engineering, scraping, copying, or automating access to the service except as expressly permitted by us.

Bot Configuration and Server Data

The service processes Discord server data needed for configured features, including channel IDs, message IDs, role IDs, user IDs, command interactions, webhook messages, tracker embeds, and audit logs. Server owners and authorized managers are responsible for obtaining any permissions or notices required for their communities before enabling the bot or dashboard features.

Purchases, Claims, and Access

Some features may require a purchase, free grant, or eligibility check. Purchase and claim availability may depend on your Discord account, server membership, roles, and the configuration chosen by the service operator. Any payment, refund, or commercial terms presented at the time of purchase also apply.

User Content

You are responsible for information you submit through the service, including support ticket messages, dashboard settings, server names, ranch names, camp names, and data produced through bot commands or webhook integrations. You grant us permission to use that content as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how it may be shared, how long it may be retained, and how deletion requests can be made. By using the service, you also agree to the Privacy Policy.

Service Changes and Availability

We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, permanent storage, or compatibility with every Discord server configuration.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the service, remove bot access, delete or restrict data, or refuse support if we believe these Terms have been violated, the service is being misused, Discord requires action, or continued access creates legal, security, operational, or abuse risk.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, or service interruption arising from or related to your use of the service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
